For the lead drug candidate, Egetis submitted a marketing authorization application to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in October 2023 and intends to submit a new drug application (NDA) in the US in mid 2024 under the Fast-Track Designation granted by FDA. We are now on an exciting journey to establish our own teams for product launches in Europe and North America.

As IT Governance Director, you will be responsible for governance of several applications. Responsibilities include vendor management, change management, incident management, IT security, validation, user training, user acceptance testing, writing SOPs and work instructions, developing templates and more. You will take ownership of the entire lifecycle surrounding our applications to ensure that they are maintained in an efficient and secure manner, as well as keeping yourself and others up-to-date with new features and implementations.

You will be acting across IT and company business operations.

You are responsible for developing strategic and tactical roadmaps within the scope of your responsibility.

You will also act as a project manager from time to time and you will be a key person in the IT organization.

You will be expected to take initiatives and work proactively to ensure smooth IT deliveries while analyzing the complex needs of various departments and daring to challenge the requests.

One of your first tasks will be to implement an ERP system together with the business and an external partner.

You will report directly to our CIO.

Key Accountabilities, IT Governance

  • Responsibility for a select number of applications.
  • Responsibility for costs and budget.
  • Vendor/Supplier management including change control.
  • Compliance with policies, SOPs and work instructions.
  • Development of new SOPs and Work Instructions when needed.
  • Support and training to the business regarding your portfolio of applications.
  • Setting up and driving the roadmap for your applications.
  • Validation and change control for validated applications.
  • You will make sure that the IT security is sufficient for your applications.

Your Profile

To thrive and succeed in the role you are an experienced professional and have demonstrable IT working experience.

Required competencies:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong experience and interest with application implementations, enhancements and integrations.
  • Solid technical understanding and competence in required areas.
  • Good Swedish and English, verbal and in writing.
  • Be able to prioritize and handle varied work tasks.
  • Confident leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to tailor communication to all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to debate ideas/strategy, comfortable managing constructive discussion, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
